Dirty Rowdy Thing (Wild Seasons #2) by Christina Lauren

Available on

Synopsis:

From the New York Times best-selling author of Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player, Book Two of the brand-new Wild Seasons series that started with Sweet Filthy Boy - a story of friends, love, and lust.

Despite their rowdy hookups, Harlow and Finn don't even like each other... which would explain why their marriage lasted only 12 hours. He needs to be in charge and takes whatever he wants. She lives by the Want-something-done? Do-it-yourself mantra. Maybe she's too similar to the rugged fisherman - or just what he needs.

Review:

I know I am reading these books all out of order, but after reading Dark Wild Night I needed more and Dirty Rowdy Thing one was available at the library. No waiting needed! Man I really love these books. The characters are great, they are so much fun, and I just want to read them all!

Dirty Rowdy Thing is the story of Harlow and Finn. Harlow who lives in CA and has movie industry parents and has some personal things she doesn't know how to deal with. Who is used to helping people and making everything better for those she cares about, but this time she can't. This time she has to sit back and hope everything works out okay...and she is not very good at that. So she needs a distraction. Good thing Finn is in town. Finn who she was married to for 12 hours. Finn who she had amazing sexy times with that have kind of ruined her for other men. Finn who lives on a tiny island in Canada and runs his family's fishing company. Finn who nothing could ever come of them, but he is a great way to be distracted and not think about everything going on. For his part Finn has his own issues and Harlow definitely helps him stop thinking about everything going on as well.

Now these two didn't really know each other when they got married and didn't expect to ever really get to know each other. When they start sleeping together again they both think it will never come to anything. I mean they don't even like each other....right? But what happens when things start to change. When they start liking each other and this sex only thing they have going on becomes something more? Can they make it work?

I really loved Finn and Harlow together. Sure Finn could be a bit...in his own head and gets in his way at times, but I loved him. He eventually realizes when he messes up and it was fun. You can tell they like each other but have to figure out a way to make their crazy lives work. I can't wait to read more of this series!
