Untamed (Untamed #1) by Victoria Green & Jinsey Reese

Untamed (Untamed #1) Synopsis: Rich, beautiful, and wild, Reagan McKinley has everything she needs...but nothing that she wants. That is, until she spends one hot night in the arms of sexy, unbridled Dare Wilde. She's a girl trapped in a rigid world she desperately wants to escape, and he's an untamed artist with an attitude, hell-bent on freeing her—body, mind, and soul. But Reagan's life is not her own, and Dare is not welcome in it. She can't include him in her carefully-controlled, extremely public lifestyle...and yet she cannot give him up. Will a shared passion for art—and, increasingly, each other—be enough to keep them together? Or will it be the thing that ultimately tears them apart? Review: Untamed was an annoying story for me. It was a poor little rich girl story. I guess I am supposed to feel bad for Reagan and all, but I didn't really understand why she just didn't leave her family. She was old enough to get out on her own

The more I read, the farther I got in the book, the more I started to get into it the more I enjoyed it

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll - Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge

Image
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Synopsis: One day, a young girl named Alice is sitting on the riverbank with her sister, when she sees a curious looking white rabbit. She soon after falls into the magical world of Wonderland, where she meets a series of strange creatures. Review: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is the first book for my Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge! It was such a great first read for this challenge! So fun and silly and just ridiculous in really amazing way. I loved it. I loved how the story just kind of goes round and round and gets off track every two seconds. You just keep meandering here and there and everywhere. I loved how it would go from one thing to another by use of the same sounding words, but different meanings in just ridiculous ways. Like when Alice was wet and needed to get dry the one character starts reciting the driest thing he knows which is just...oh I just loved it. I love word play things like that, especially w

Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge

Image
"I live in two worlds, one is a world of books." -Rory Gilmore I was super excited when Gilmore Girls was added to Netflix last year as I love love love that show. It is definitely one of my favorites. At the time I kept seeing references to the Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge. Prior to this I hadn't heard of it, but someone compiled a list of all 339 book referenced in Gilmore Girls! Well I knew I needed to work my way through the list as I had not read very many of them so that is what I am going to do. The end of last year was a bit busy for me so it got pushed off until this month, but here we go! So I am just going to read through the list kind of in order. I have read a few of the books for book club so I might read some out of order for that, but otherwise just I will just read them as they are listed. If I have read the book before and remember reading it I might skip it for the time being and then come back and re-read the skipped ones at the end. I might

Everything seems ideal until one day Gavin confesses to Emma that he was unfaithful, turning their entire relationship from perfect to a total disaster.  Suddenly Emma's carefully controlled world is chaotic and her future uncertain as she struggles to determine if she is able to forgive Gavin or have the strength to move on. Review: I was looking forward to reading Whatever It Takes . It is not your normal romance since it starts off the day after Gavin admits he cheated on his wife Emma. I was curious to see if the author would be able to write it so that the couple would be able to work it out and get stronger or if this was the beginning of the end of the
