Synopsis:

“I knew you were running the first time I saw you…"
Devon didn’t have a game plan when she decided to leave St. Louis on a Chicago-bound train for the summer. Just a reason.
One she couldn’t share with anyone. Not Hadley, her best friend from college, who lets her stay in the guest bedroom; no questions asked. Or Brennan, the bartender at the local restaurant they frequent, who she actively tries to avoid. Or Garrett, Hadley’s boyfriend, who befriends her when she has no one else to turn to.

Review:
After reading Micah I was looking for more books in the series and found this one. The Things I Never Said is a short novella, just a short glimpse into what happened after Micah. What happens with Micah and Ev. It was cute and sweet, super short, but fun.

Ev and Micah are in love. Things are going great until Micah starts acting strange. He won't talk to Ev about what is bother him so she doesn't know what to think. Is he over her? Does he want to break up? Or is there something on his mind and can she get him to talk? Like …

Friends (Sempre #0.5) by J.M. Darhower

Available on
Amazon * Amazon.de * Goodreads
Synopsis:

Friends:  One moment.  One wrong choice.  That was all it took to destroy a friendship.
*takes place before Sempre*
Review:
Friends was my first introduction to this author. I picked up the two novella book when it was free figuring if I enjoyed Friends then I would get Sempre to read, while if I didn't then it was a quick easy way to check out a new author. I enjoyed this super short story and am looking forward to reading more!
Friends is the short backstory of Carmine and Nicholas and how one night changed everything. They used to be friends, but they are young and stupid and just messed everything up. I can't wait to read Sempre now and see what happens with Carmine! I know I still have the Forever novella that is bundled with this to read, but I am going to wait until I have read the other books first since it comes after. Really short, but drew me in and now I want more!

Synopsis:

I don't believe in fairy tales.  I don't believe in glass slippers.  I don't believe in Prince-Freaking-Charming.
Cinderella can kiss my ass.
I kiss frogs, sometimes even toads.  I've given up on meeting Mr. Right, instead it seems all I meet is Mr. Wrong, Mr. Very-Wrong and even, Mr. Lets-Not-Even-Go-There.
Fairy tales are for morons.

Now I'm left wondering if he's my Prince Charming or my fairy tale villain.  Will I ride away safely into the night, dreaming of happily ever afters?  Or, will I stumble and fall in ridiculously high heels only meant for women with a death wish?
Once Upon A Time...

“I get it,” she said. “I finally get it.” She wouldn’t look up at me, instead concentrating on her hands. There were a few freckles on the backs of them. I wanted to take one of her purple pens and connect them to make constellations on her skin.

“Get what?” I asked. Her eyes came up to my face.
“Why you’re so obsessed with me.” I raised both eyebrows, but inside, I was panicked. What if she figured me out? That would be disastrous. It would be the end.
“And why is that?” I said, trying to be playful.

My heart belonged to Branch and Brooks Valentine since we were children, when we were all too na├»ve to know what that even meant. Brooks showed up to be our best man the night before our nuptials. After drinks and too much reminiscing, I ended up in bed with the wrong brother. To avoid the humiliation and the fact that I’d ruined all of our lives, I left Branch and the only family I’d ever known.
That’s where my story should have ended.
Two years, one beautiful little girl and an abusive marriage later, I was standing there staring at the man that would always hold my heart.

Wanderlust is a short novella, which normally I am just so so on, but this one was really cute. Ruby and Ford had been friends forever, they went to university together and were both in love with the other, but nothing ever happened. …
