Stinger by Mia Sheridan

Stinger (Sign of Love, Scorpio)

Synopsis:

Grace Hamilton was the girl with a plan. She knew exactly where her life was going and prided herself on always achieving her goals. It was who she was, and how she lived her life. She never stepped outside the lines, and never considered what she might desire and whom she was actually trying so hard to please. Until him…

Carson Stinger was a man who didn't play by any rules except his own. Working in the adult entertainment industry, he didn't care what others thought, and took each day as it came, no direction, no plan. He knew what women wanted from him and believed it was all he had to offer. Until her…

When circumstances forced them to spend several hours together, they walked away changed. But for two people who never should have meshed, overcoming the reality of their vastly different lives wasn't possible. At least not yet…

Review:

I was excited for this book. I loved the Leo books by this author and thought they were really sweet. I was looking forward to meeting two new characters and seeing how they got together. That was until like the second chapter when I realized this would be nothing like those first two books. This was one of those just sex love stories. I really hate stories like that as well...they are not really story stories. So let's see what else I can say on this book.

Carson. Carson was a porn star (4 movies - does that make him a star?) and so once he meets Grace he wants to be better and not do porn. So what do we do with the story? Kind of just turn it into a light porn. Well not really, but just sex all the time so it might as well be. So disappointing. I guess he does take Grace out sometimes and there is the time apart, but when they are together it isn't really believable that they are in love, just that they are really attracted to each other. I actually really liked Carson though. He was fun and sweet and just seemed like a good person.

Grace. Grace was the goodie goodie trying to please her dad and somehow Carson helped her change and do what she wants. I didn't really care about her either way. I guess she was fine since Carson liked her, but whatever.

Overall just a lame story where the main characters are super attracted to each other and somehow that equals love. So disappointed after reading the authors other works.
