He’s playing for the heart she’s had sidelined for years.

IVY HAYES

Dating can be a rocky journey. Once the new shine wears off, you may end up with a case of buyer’s remorse.

That’s where I come in. I set the backdrop and coach you through the breakup.

Don't want overblown drama, hard feelings, or a drink tossed in your face? Then I'm your fairy godmother, child.

BECKET JONES

As an NFL quarterback, endorsement ads and the media pandering after me are all part of the game.

Ivy Hayes is the first woman who doesn't care about my money and the notoriety that goes along with it.

But I'm a long-term guy, and she operates strictly in the now. Which means I need to bring my A-game.

Otherwise, I’ll end up getting ditched.

Review:

I loved Ditched so so much. I'm used to reading sports romances where the famous guy is a ladies man and sleeps around before finding the one and then things are great. But we don't have that with this story. No, Becket is awesome. He is a genuinely good guy. He loves what he does and he uses his fame and fortune to help others. He gives back, he helps others, he is just a great person. No wonder everyone loves him. But he is definitely a relationship guy. He doesn't do the one night stands and all of that. He wants commitment and to find the other half of him. Beckett is everything. He is sweet and kind and sexy and everything you could want wrapped up in a one person. Becket was amazing.

Ivy hasn't had the best experiences with relationships, so she doesn't do them. She has a bit of a rocky past and doesn't want to subject anyone to all of her drama that would come up if it ever got out. She also is really great at helping people break up without drama. If you are a big name or in a sticky situation and want to break up with your current significant other, but are worried about how they will take it, Ivy and her friends at Ditched are there for you. They will make it painless and help get you out of the relationship still looking good. No fuss, no muss, no drama. Love is an illusion and she won't do that. She will sleep with someone, she is upfront that it is just sex, but that doesn't always mean the guys don't get attached. Becuase Ivy is pretty awesome even if she is jaded. She is still so sweet and kind and caring and hilarious and everything you could want. Just because she has sky high walls around her heart doesn't mean she is a mean person. I loved Ivy. So so much.

Ivy and Becket meet under some unusual circumstances. She doesn't know who he is, but through talking on the phone for a while she starts to like him. Something that wasn't supposed to happen. She can't do relationships. Especially when she finds out who he really is. She couldn't do that to him.

I loved these two together. Ivy fights things between them as best she can, but sometimes you have to know when to give in and accept what happens. To really move on from your past and start a future with someone. And Becket is so sweet. He knows Ivy says no relationship, but he likes her. Really likes her and can see a life with her. He is not one to give up easily. Not that he forces her to do anything, but slowly but surely he gets under her armor and works his way into her life. They were amazing together. I loved them both and wanted things to work out so badly for them. Becket was incredible and it was nice to read a pro football player being such a good person. So sweet and kind and wonderful to Ivy who is a bit off balance at the moment. Ivy who doesn't really know what she is doing because she has never connected with someone like this before. Ivy who needs to learn to trust someone else and fully let them in if they are going to make it. My heart hurt for both of them at times, but it was worth it in the end. I really enjoyed this story.
