Day 10 - Top ten favorite books Man top 10 favorite books? That is a hard one. Probably the hardest prompt for me. I can't even do a top ten books from this past year, let alone all time favorites. I'm not one for favorites in general though. Like color. What is my favorite color? Well I would probably start by saying a cool color like blue or a deep green, but then I think how some purples are really nice, and what about pink? Can't forget red. And yellow? Oh, yeah there are some nice yellows...and so on until I have listed ever color imaginable almost. I am just not good with favorites. I start with one thing I like, then think of more things that would be favorites then more and before you know it I have too many things. But I shall give this a go. I'm not going to dwell on it, just list the first 10 books I think of so I don't drive myself crazy trying to get it "right". Day 15 - Do you follow any authors religiously? Are there any authors who you One-Click when a new book comes out? You know this past year one of the things on my to-do list that I never got around to was making a list of authors that I love. Ones that I will read anything they write. Not that that means I love everything they do, but even if I don't like one book I will still be just as excited for the next. So here is my list of authors that I follow, with a favorite book or two if I have them. The ones that I am always so excited to get a new book from, in no particular order. Laura Florand -  The Chocolate Touch  is definitely my favorite of hers, though I love them all. I just have a special place for Dom & Jamie in my heart. Dat 8 - #SuperSunday - What makes a book blog successful? For day 8 I am not really sure what to write. What makes a book blog successful? I don't know. My blog is not of the big super popular ones. I like it though. It is what I want so it works for me. Day 9 - #MotivationMonday - How do you make sure you stay consistent and post on your blog? Do you schedule? Go with the flow? How do I stay motivated to post on my blog? How do I post something every day? Well when I first started the blog I just told myself I was going to post something every day. And that works for me. I have in my head that I have to, like a job task that needs to be completed, so I do. As long as I don't miss a day, don't leave the blog empty for one day, then I will continue doing it. If I do stop posting, do go a few days, then it will just spiral down and I will get lazy and it will be very infrequent or never posting anymore. I know myself. Day 14 - What role do books play in your life? Books play a big role in my life. After all I am always reading. Every chance I get. I always have my Kindle with me so if I am waiting for the train or just have a few minutes I can read a few pages. I also love talking about books with other book lovers, have 2 books clubs I participate in every month (one in person, one online), and just am fully immersed in the world of books. I never knew before starting to blog how big and awesome the reader/author community is. I love that it is so easy to communicate with authors I love and find other friends in fans who love the same books as I do. I'm still terrible at interacting with people online, but I am trying to get better at it. After all I get to talk about books more that way! Reading has always been a big part of my life and I cannot imagine that ever changing.
